8:20 AM Keynote Presentation: Smooth is fast: Operating models and real change velocity with AI

AI can accelerate delivery, but only when the right foundations are in place. In this keynote, Cecelia will share how Grainger is building the systems, product practices and governance needed to turn AI from experimentation into execution. Rather than focusing only on what gets built, this session will examine the conditions that make better outcomes possible: clear processes, thoughtful enablement, and high-quality data built to reflect how the business actually works. Cecelia will discuss why operational context matters, how quality and trust reinforce speed, and what it takes to create durable value with AI. Attendees will leave with a practical perspective on how disciplined operating models help teams move faster and build with greater confidence.
