Coburn is currently the Director of eBusiness at The Granite Group, one of the leading plumbing, heating, cooling, water and propane supply companies in the Northeast. His mission is to help The Granite Group innovate and migrate from information provider to trusted partner. Digital transition has always been a part of Coburn’s career. Since his early days working with software and internet companies (even before the internet was a “thing”), he has been passionate about leveraging technology to improve value proposition. This has been the case from building one of the first online stores for FTP Software, supply chain management with Timberland, creating “e” customer service with Silknet Software to his current position at The Granite Group. Under Coburn’s watch, The Granite Group’s percentage of online sales has increased over 200%, on track to reach over 10% of all sales in 2019 while at the same time decreasing abandonment by 38%.  He believes successful digital transformation starts with customer-first thinking for mutual success.
