Kari Janavitz

Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer TE Connectivity

Kari Janavitz has served as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for TE Connectivity since January 2018. She leads global marketing, brand, and communications for TE.

Kari joined TE Connectivity in 2013 as Vice President, Marketing with the responsibility of building TE’s brand as the top of mind choice for connectivity and sensor solutions. Under her leadership, TE has received several marketing and brand awards including recognition in AdAge’s 2016 BtoB Best Awards and the ANA’s 2019 B2 Winner for the top Integrated Marketing Communications Brand Strategy. While at TE, Kari also led marketing for the company’s Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit.

She’s also responsible for marketing programs to support customer and revenue growth for small-to-medium sized businesses. That program continues to exceed goals leveraging new digital go-to-market models and innovative marketing tactics. Kari helped lead the company’s eCommerce pilot while in ICT, which has now scaled across multiple businesses and markets.

For more than 20 years, Kari has focused on driving growth and building value for leading technology brands. Prior to TE, she led brand, communications, and marketing teams at RedPrairie (JDA) and Sapient. She also ran her own marketing and communications consulting firm focused on brand-building and communication programs for tech-focused companies.
