Nick Ostergaard is the manager of e-commerce sales & operations and marketing systems at Toyota Material Handling, North America’s leading forklift brand for 16 consecutive years. He is responsible for the company’s e-commerce sales channel as well as developing and operating other customer-facing applications and offerings. Nick is leading a customer-centric, omni-channel transformation at TMH and is challenging the traditional customer experience within the material handling industry.
Prior to joining Toyota in 2014, Nick worked as Marketing Manager for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, one of Indiana’s largest lobbyist organizations. During his time at the Chamber, Nick increased overall revenue by implementing digital marketing and a customer analytics outbound strategy. Nick led the marketing effort for numerous business and government events that resulted in record attendance and engagement.
Nick also held a management and corporate spokesperson role at the Better Business Bureau where he implemented a two-fold digital marketing strategy around company accreditation and consumer awareness. He also spoke extensively to media outlets and at consumer awareness events.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin College where he was a member of the baseball team.
Nick is an avid CrossFitter and enjoys traveling, reading and staying up-to-date on current events domestically and globally.
Nick lives in Columbus, Indiana with his wife Jessica and daughters Aria and Leah.
