Patrick O’Connell

Head of Marketing & Communications, Americas KONE Corporation

Patrick O’Connell is Head of Marketing & Communications for KONE Americas.

In this role, he is responsible for the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies for KONE, a global leader in elevators and escalators. He is also responsible for coordinating global marketing and communications initiatives across the the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and for developing internal and external communications programs.

Prior to joining KONE in 2014, Patrick served as a Global Communications Director for Ingersoll Rand and has previously held significant leadership positions for National City Bank, Capital One and MCI.  Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and his MBA from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.

Patrick lives in the Chicago area with his wife, Michelle.
